In the application of emerging 3D tech to urban planning, collaboration is key. Geopogo Cities’ recent work with Lucid Motors and the City of Casa Grande, Arizona, demonstrates how cutting-edge visualization tools, GIS, and BIM can shape the future of the city.
1. Geopogo Cities’ Tailored 3D Visualization Solution
At the heart of this project was the development of a customized version of Geopogo Cities, tailored specifically for the needs of Lucid Motors and the City of Casa Grande. The integration of: 1) 3D visualization with Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 5; 2) BIM (Building Information Modeling) data integration from Autodesk Revit; 3) GIS (Geographic Information System) data from Cesium and the Google Maps API; and 4) Geopogo Cites interactive city design tools provided a solution seamlessly bridging the gap between design concept and physical implementation.

The ongoing phased development of Lucid Motors’ automotive production complex in the City of Casa Grande represents a leap forward in the city's physical and economic growth. The Geopogo Cities solution visualized how Lucid’s expansion integrates with the City's long-term development plans.
